Prenatals to prepare for pregnancy...?

My husband and I are beginning to try to get pregnant, and my mother in law had mentioned to take prenatal before I even get pregnant. Thoughts? Does it help with anything? 
Also, if you have any tips on conceiving, it would be much appreciated😊❤

I am not sure it helps conceive, but it makes sure baby is getting vitamins from the very beginning. It is recommended all women of childbearing age take a prenatal.

Yes do it! We weren’t trying yet but I’m positive I had a chemical pregnancy back in November and then a couple cycles just felt off after that. I looked it up and symptoms I was having led me to believe I had low progesterone- as soon as I started taking a prenatal (Jan) my cycle was regular again and then we tried and got pregnant in Feb. I seriously believe my body was deficient in a certain vitamin and that’s why a pregnancy wouldn’t stick and why I was having weird symptoms. So I say it’s an absolute must if you’re going to try!

Yes. You should be taking prenatal for three months before getting pregnant. It helps prepare your body for pregnancy. It’s also important to have folic acid in your system when you get pregnant to help prevent neural tube defects which normally occur within the first few weeks of pregnancy. My OB recommended me take a prenatal before conception.  I also took evening primrose oil and mucinex during the first two weeks of each cycle, until ovulation.  I took a baby aspirin, magnesium with vitamin b6, vitamin d, vit b12 too. I was given Femara by my OB had a miscarriage in January and I’m now 7 weeks pregnant. So this combo worked for me twice very close together.

It helps I had an ectopic and 2 miscarriages I started taking prenatals with extra folic acid in it and now I have a healthy pregnancy ♥️
