Vaginal discharge or early signs of water breaking

I'm 16 weeks , I do have clear discharge most of the time. Actually being Pregnant my vaginal odor has changed its not gross but has a different smell. I was reading into early signs of water breaking because my mother had a incompetent cervix with me. When I went to my 10 weeks ultrasound an pap they said everything seemed normal an they wouldn't know this early. I don't have another ultrasound till 20 weeks. I want to know what to look for early signs of small leaks . I'm am fearing I will have the same thing. I read up on it but I want to know if anyone has had or knows anything about this . Thank you .
