He still talks to his ex

I understand that they have a kid together and need to communicate sometimes but when he calls her daily to ask about her day and shares personal things about our marriage, that is taking it to far don't you think? He doesn't talk to his others kids mom like that so I know something is not right. I have children with my ex and we never talk. There is definitely something going on and he is hiding things from me. I have tried calmly talking to him about it but he gets super defensive and calls me names. He keeps pushing me away and I'm about done. I don't know if I love him anymore.
