How much is your 4 month old eating?

My little girl is eating between 35-40 oz per day and heard somewhere that this is bad. I was told a baby shouldn’t eat more than 32 oz a day. Anyone have any tips to keep her from eating so much? She doesn’t spit up or anything and I only feed at hunger cues. Not sure why she always wants so much. She’s formula fed too btw.

Do 2.5 oz per pound. That should give you an idea of how much your baby needs.
My son is already 20lbs and like 28 inches tall lol so 35-40oz is milk per day would def not work for him 😂

Also—not sure who told you this is “bad.” Babies also go through growth spurts at different times and some babies are much bigger than others.
If your baby is hungry and she isn’t even spitting up her food, then she definitely is ok! She’s hungry for a reason. Growing!

I think that’s fine as long as baby is gaining and growing just fine! My girl barely eats between 25-30 oz a day but she’s growing fine and isn’t a tiny baby by any means. Soon we’ll be experimenting with food too so maybe your baby will take in less oz then
