Butalbital-acetaminophen/caffine????

Question

Ok ladies anyone know if these are safe during pregnancy. I have chronic headaches normally but even worse being pregnant and I'm 8 weeks pregnant and my doc prescribed me these.
Anyone have any info or has taken these before (while pregnant) I'd like some insights thanks.😊

Its one of the only migraine meds my doctor will let me have while I'm pregnant. If your doctor knows you are pregnant they wouldn't (or shouldn't) have prescribed you anything unsafe for baby. The only thing is I think I'm not to take more than 4-6 pills in a 24 hour period. But its the only thing keeping me sane. Be careful not to take it too often tho.. Don't want to end up with rebound headaches :/

Although if you can avoid taking anything during pregnancy it's best of course but I was also prescribed these (21 weeks now) and I was told they were safe. Not a lot of caffeine in them, just only take them when serve rely needed- acetaminophen is okay to take when needed but taking it a lot could cause to liver problems (especially in first trimester) and possibly lead to ADHD in baby later on. Good luck, my headaches got better in the second trimester. 💜🙏🏼

They say to limit caffeine to less than 200 mg a day and that amount hasn't proven to cause any issues. Acetaminophen is believed to be safe during pregnancy but don't take it all the time prett much. One here and there is believed to be okay.
