So I’m 36wk and 4 days and I’ve been having Braxton Hicks for the past 2weeks. Got my cervix checked Wednesday and been spotting (brown) since. Friday I felt this “glob” and it was brown discharge. Been having this ever since...any ideas what it is???

I spoke with my Dr and she said it’s most likely due to having my cervix checked, or it could be part of the mucus plug. Nothing to worry about, thank you ladies for the responses!!!!

That doesn’t look too serious I would worry more if it was red but I had my cervix chkd same thing happened with the brown discharge u have so many blood vessels that are soft and get irritated easy

I’d definitely call your doctor or show up to labor and delivery. I’m not 100% sure but if it is blood (assuming old due to color) then that’s something where I’ve been told to just go straight to the hospital. Could be nothing but better safe than sorry. Good luck mama!

I think it's old blood from being checked. It might have been hanging out in discharge and you passed the discharge in one glob.

This happened to me in my last pregnancy when they checked my cervix. I was told it’s just old blood and nothing to worry about but I’d ask your doc just to be safe.
