Normal for belly button to look like this??

Baby is 2 weeks old and today it looks like this

Have you not  taken the baby to the pediatrician  to follow  up ? I would get it checked out, kinda looks a little  moist. My umbilical  cord fell off within a week. And didnt look like that at all.  Best to check it out

My babies looked similar it fell off around 2wks I was cleaning it with alcohol as the dr recommended prior to it falling she had to go in for a weight check and I had the dr look at it she said it's a granuloma. She put something called silver nitrate on it to help it heal the rest of the way. I no longer have to give sponge bath or alcohol on it. The only down side is the silver nitrate dyed the skin around her belly button a blackish color like it's been colored on with a pencil but it will eventually go away

Try to clean it with alcohol.. my baby's doesn't look like that and it fell off after a week... the alcohol helps with drying it out but have the doctor check it.
