Pumping and dumping is an outdated recommendation. If you’re ok to drive, you’re ok to nurse. 
The alcohol strips also aren’t accurate so don’t depend on those. The amount of alcohol that gets to baby through the milk is literally almost non-existence. It’s more about being able to safely hold and handle your baby than it is alcohol in your milk.

I’d like to also add if you choose to pump- you do not have to dump it - you can put it in a storage bag and freeze it labeled for milk baths 😉

I bought those strips that tested your breast milk after you drink. I can’t remember the exact timing but you don’t have to pump and dump. It leaves your breast milk like it leaves your blood. I believe its 2 hours per drink.

Don’t need to dump. If u can drive u can nurse. And that’s only cuz of concern for YOU being able to care for baby, not becuz of alcohol in system. Less than 2% gets to baby from breastmilk

I pumped and dumped when I drank. No reason to risk giving my baby bad milk. I also pumped and dumped instead of just skipping a pump session to keep my routine and supply up.  I researched a time line for how long you should wait and you’ll have to also look it up because it depends on how much you drink, how fast, and your body weight.  Example for me it was like 1 drink, just wait 2 hours but then if you have 4 drinks your supposed to wait maybe 6-7 hours. I can’t totally remember what the formula is so don’t quote me for sure on that but I know that it was a formula.

If you're safe to drive you're safe to feed no need to pump and dump. Now if you get wasted, I'd suggest just having a full day's worth of milk in the fridge as a precaution
