Cockblocked by Birth Control

I have been on Depo Provera for a long time now but noticed that I no longer have a sex drive. This has really been messing with my relationship. Honestly I just don't feel the urge like I used too. The plan is to stop taking the shot but I'm wondering how long it will take before my mojo comes back. Has anyone else had this problem? The weight gain didnt help either. Just wonder if there are ways to trigger my inner sex beast.
