I'll try to make this as short as possible..so I own my own trailer where my fiancé and I live. We have 3 bedrooms (2 we just use for when family stays and storage) and we've had roommates before (helped people out when they had no where to go) and those occasions never ended well. I'm just one of those people that can't live well with others besides family and my fiancé. Not sure why. Anyway, my childhood best friend just sent me a Facebook message asking me if we still have those two bed rooms because her mom has been sleeping in a park for 3 days. Besides me not doing well living with others, her mom is a huge druggie and has been for years. There's no way in hell I want her to stay at my place and I do feel like a terrible person for it but at the same time I don't because of the fact that she does drugs. I don't know what to say to my friend though. If I say no, I risk losing our friendship - we aren't as close as we used to be to begin with. If I say no, she'll probably ask why, and what am I supposed to say? "Because you know your mom is a drug addict and I don't want that kind of stuff in my house" ..sounds kinda harsh/heartless even though it's true. Can anyone give me some advice?!
