I’m not in Canada but I have the Lansinoh smartpump as well and I like it!

Pros:

-gentle. I’m also a first timer and so I didn’t want anything too rough. It has several suction patterns and suction strength settings

-very small/compact and lightweight

-doesn’t seem very loud to me, but I don’t have anything to compare to

-AC adapter or battery power option, in case you don’t have access a power outlet

-expression setting helps me get a let down before switching to slower suction to mimic baby’s natural patterns

-the display is backlit and has a timer so you know how long you’ve pumped

-it has an app to go with it and track pump sessions (but I don’t use it)

-you can pump directly into their milk storage bags

Cons

-customer service is so painfully SLOW. I called and emailed for weeks about some tubing that came damaged. I will say that when they finally responded they replaced the whole pump though 👍

-only comes with one size flange, but medela ones have been compatible if you need another size

-minor annoyance, but every time you turn on the pump it doesn’t remember your last suction strength setting. So I usually have to turn it on and then turn the suction all the way down before getting situated.
