Early labour?

Started contractions at 5 am and before that couldn't sleep from 130am because of sore back I don't have my mucus plug and doctor said last week I'm 1cm dilated and 70% and so after all these contractions today which weren't too regular some were and some weren't I went to the hospital and I was 80% effaced and 2 cms..  And still getting contractions on and off and extremely sore everywhere! Early labour ? What do u ladies think? Due sept 29th

It's not classed as early labour as you've made it past 37 weeks - it's just labour now! Good luck!! X

I started getting early labor contractions at 3cm.  I was 1.5 cm at 38 weeks and had my membranes stripped.  I dilated to 3cm at 39 weeks and had my membranes stripped again.  Contractions started at 11 that night but I was still only 3cm when I went in.  I got sent home because I wasn't dilating and went back 2 days later hoping to get something for the pain and they didn't think I was in labor because my contractions were all over the place they even said "well you can come in if you want to" as if it was a waste of their time.  Turns out I was actually 4.5 cm dilated and the baby was ready to come :)  so you can dilate pretty quick in the last few weeks of you keep walking.  I did circles on my yoga ball and played just dance.  Whatever I did it worked because I had my baby 2 days early.  Good luck it seems like you are very close even if just early labor in can progress fast!

Sounds like earlie labour pains I had them on and off from 1cm started Tuesday he was born on the Saturday
