So I had my first cervical exam last night and know that I am only 1cm, 50% effaced and still high and posterior. I've been losing bits of mucus plug for over a week now, but today in the shower lost literally a small handful of thick, dark brown bloody mucus discharge, the color and consistency of a very large, dark clot. I called about it and they had me go to l&d but I was dismissed after an NST and told it was bloody show and not to be concerned.
