Is it wrong or okay ??

Okay so I have two girls ages 4 and 3 I had a baby shower with the first one. My sister  and sister in law want to throw me a shower because I am having a boy and have nothing anymore cause I got rid of most of my items. Is it okay or does anyone think it is wrong to have another baby shower considering I had one with my first ??

I've always thought you have a baby shower every time you're pregnant? Maybe I'm wrong. This is the first I've heard of this.

I'm having one. My first was a boy and my mom had thrown my babyshower.  We ended up getting rid of all of our baby items so that we didn't have to bring them with us when we moved.  This time around we're having a girl and my husbands grandma is throwing me another one since my mom now lives in Texas. I told her she didn't need to but she insists.

I say go for it! 
This is my first child, and I'm having 2 showers. All of my family and friends live 450 miles away from me. Then I'm having another one where I live for family and friends up here. I have had people actually say "I can't believe you're going to have TWO baby showers!"
But it's what works for us.

It's the opposite gender and I'm guessing since you got rid of everything unplanned? With it brig opposition gender and not having stuff shower etiquette says a shower is fine to have.

Thanks ladies I had always thought that you had one for each gender but I have heard differently from people and I don't want people thinking I'm just trying to mouch off of them!
