Assisted Hatching?

Question

Is it neccesary? Does hatching increases the chances of implatation? How many of you did hatching to your embryos,and was it succesful? Should i ask for that?

Our clinic does assisted hatching across the board unless you request otherwise. They claim that it helps the implantation process although the success rates don’t look any different due to it. Both of our embryos we put in at day 5 were hatching.

We did assisted hatching round one and it failed I’m not gonna do it this round. I want the baby to hatch when it’s ready.

I think it's all in what your Dr recommends. It's being done with ours, but I know plenty of people who don't have it done. 🤷 I haven't really researched it so I'm not sure how the success rates are affected.

Assisted hatching was required if needed. My first FET was assisted and it failed (not saying that was the cause) but the second my doctor didn’t do assisted hatching
