If you were to buy tickets for a raffle, would you rather put your ticket in for a gift basket or a sound bar?

The gift basket would be beach themed,

Including:

Beach towels

Beach ball

Beer

Sun screen

Water bottles

Expensive shaving cream for women

Expensive body wash for men

“Body dew”

-those three products I had a friend donate, she works with Pure Romance

Beach toys

And anything else I could find being beach themed

Just curious because I told my mom I was doing the beach theme for the raffle, and she said it was a good idea, but then said it sounded dumb and people would rather have a sound bar (which is like a surround sound system) and she said she would now buy it.

I’m not sure if she actually thinks my idea sounds dumb or not or if she just wants to help?

I’ve noticed a lot lately that my mom will tell me my ideas/things are stupid/dumb/pointless/not good so she can buy me something or offer to buy me something and then tell everyone she either bought it for me and how lucky I am to have her or offered to buy it for me and tell everyone I push her out and don’t let her do anything for me and only allow other people to help me.

But anyways, that’s besides the point.

My mom was supposed to be doing half of the prizes anyways and the games, but it’s now two weeks until the baby shower and I need to get stuff done bc so far she hasn’t done half of what she was supposed to do, and I’m just curious whether I should just let her do the sound bar or if I should be getting together the basket

There will be a bunch of different people coming. Both boys and girls are coming. And there are people coming as family’s and I have people who are still in high school joining (which if they win obviously anyone underage wouldn’t be able to bring home the beer unless they came with someone 21 or older) along with people who are in their 60s/70s.

So I’m trying to make sure I have a raffle prize that is intriguing for everyone in one way or another.
