How the hell do you keep the ring inserted and stay in place the whole 3 weeks!? I just went on the NuvaRing yesterday and it kept slipping down!! It’s not falling out but it kept slipping down to the opening of my vagina, although it did not fall out, I could literally feel it externally... is this normal? My doctor said as long it is inside the vagina then it will be fine no matter where it is at but I don’t think I should be going to the bathroom almost every couple hours to push it back up. I have pushed it as far as I can and I have also switched positions on how I’m doing it (I tried laying down, squatting and standing with one leg on toilet), it will not go in any further and I also tried a tampon applicator and it still slips down. Sometimes it slips down and I don’t notice that it’s in but other times it slips down to the opening of my vagina to where I could feel it if I put my finger on my vagina hole. What am I doing wrong and why won’t it go further inside of me so it doesn’t slip down so low?? I went onto their website and I should be receiving there NuvaRing applicator within 5 to 7 business days but until then what can I do?? So far today it has not slip down so low like it did yesterday but it’s still early in the day where I live. Can anyone share their experiences if they had something similar like this and are you still dealing with it or did you do something to help you to where it does not slip down that low anymore? I honestly want to be on this birth control and I want it to work so bad but if I have to mess with it every couple hours then it is not worth it to me.
