Formula switch Enfamil A R..question!?

Question!? My LO has acid reflux and the last week shes been in the most pain. Long story short..doctor wanted to switch her formula to Enfamil A R which so far has been great and I have my happy baby back aND has been sleeping through the night again. However, because the formula is thicker I am afraid she will get constipated. Anyone use this formula for their LO and put something in it to keep them regular? Or what do you suggest to do to  help constipation? I have done gripe water in day and night but is that a safe alternative VS a juice? I also am trying to avoid apple juice to help her bc of the sugar but that is something my doctor recommended...what do u think ladies !?

I used A.R with my first lo and this baby too and have never had any issues with constipation.

I haven’t used Enfamil for my baby, but we had a hard time finding a formula that worked for her and at one point she was severely constipated. I was told to give her apple juice, but to get the baby apple juice because the sugar content is much lower. I was told she could have 1oz per month old she is, but no more than 4oz. Just an idea for you since you were worried about the sugar content

My baby was just switched to enfamil AR it works really well haven’t had to deal with any constipation, but since we switched formula he went from sleeping through the night to waking up twice throughout the night. It’s a change i didn’t want but the milk helps a lot with his spit up issues we was having!

My baby has acid reflux but my pediatrician actually prescribed me Zantac to help and so I wouldn’t have to switch her formula again
