At what point do you call the doctor for heavy bleeding? And do i call the after hours line or wait till am? Bleeding thru a regular tampon in 2.5/3 hours since this morning.... Def not when im used to

A regular tampon in that time isn't bad. I've filled super tampons in that time period because I have a very heavy flow. If you're still concerned tomorrow I'd call a doctor then.

Are you on your period or is this bleeding out of no where? How many days has the heavy bleeding lasted? Going through a tampon in 3 hrs is pretty normal... if it was every 20-30 mins that would be concerning.

I have always been told to go to the ER if you bleed through two pads in one hour or a pad in an hour for two hours. If it's not that heavy, then I would call my doctor. I would probably wait until morning unless I was having other concerning symptoms.

I’ve always heard go to the er if you’re bleeding through heavy flow pads in an hour or less. So it sounds like you’re fine

That doesn’t sound too bad, I’d go to the ER if it were 30 mins not 2-3 hours.

If you’re concerned call the after hours line. Personally I wouldn’t be super concerned unless you were bleeding through every hour. Have you tried super tampons? Have any of your other symptoms been worse?
