Dramatic drop in estrogen?

Question

I’m 38, getting ready to start my 3rd round of IVF and needed to get my day 3 labs done again. In the last two years (and as recently as 5 months ago), my estrogen has been 70-90 range. Today it was 10, and the normal range is 12-233!! Does anybody have experience with a drop like this? Am I starting menopause? Seeing the doctor soon, but want to hear if anyone else has had this experience.

How recently was your last retrieval? I was about to do a third retrieval and my FSH almost doubled and my estrogen was very low in just a few weeks. It was suggested to me that I need to take a break to clear my body of all meds and kind of reset things. I went from 3 rounds of medicated cycles straight to IVF so it’s been several months of hormones. I’m hoping the break works.
