Whopping cough ??

Okay the doctors been on me about getting the whooping cough shot but I know nothing about it so my question is have any of you got it and has it caused you any problems

Yep I had a booster when my friend had her baby last year. It’s given free to all pregnant mums in Australia. They also recommend dads and grandparents get it too. You pass some immunity on to baby in the womb as they can’t get vaccinated themselves for a little while. Seeing a tiny baby with whooping cough is heartbreaking.

Only "problem" it has caused me was a sore arm for the day.

I got it yesterday, my arm is mega sore 😩 but pleased I got it in the end as it gives baby protection

It protects against three things, not just whooping cough. It’s for the baby, not you. My arm was sore for a couple days, but that was my only side effect. Do it!
