So I have had a couple friends and my sister all ask me if I want a baby shower, which I would love, but I know it’s not really feasible.

My friends are scattered across the country, I just moved to a new state last week, family is primarily international, and most of my husbands family is unable to travel for health reasons.

I did make a registry which I am planning to send people the link to if they ask about it, but I want to avoid anything that looks like a “gift grab”.

Has anyone done a virtual shower before? Has it gone well or poorly? How was it executed? Were people turned off by it?
