Conatipted baby?

My 5 month old has started baby food and has been on it for about 3 weeks now. The last 18 hours I’ve noticed his “poop face” but every time I check afterwards there’s nothing. 
Any advice on how to get him to poop?

I second the prune... they clear a baby right out.

Add a little prunes and apples to his diet.

Try giving them water! I gave my daughter water on the toilet through a syringe & she pooped 10 minutes later🙏🏽 shes 7 months old. It was also from starting food, makes sense they need water to help break down food.

Prune purée, a little bit every day ☺️ apple is binding so should avoid that. I do the prune purée with my girl for the same thing. Also, if it’s been a couple days with no poop I add a bit of prune juice in her morning baby oatmeal.

Thank you so much everyone that’s commented. I gave him some prune juice and a warm bath, 10 minutes later he was popping 😄
