Does anyone else have parents or in laws who do understand the meaning of the word no? My in laws where here over the weekend for my baby shower (which was nice) and when they were leaving I told my mil we will send her pictures after the baby is born. I do not want anyone except my husband in the hospital with me and I don’t want house guests until I’ve had at least a couple weeks at home to get used to being a new mother. My husband is on my side with this and agrees with what I want. So her response is “no, you’ll let me know when you’re in labor and I’m coming right away!” I told her “no, I don’t want anyone at the hospital” she said, “I’ll just stay in the waiting room” again I said “no I don’t want people at the hospital at all” she kept arguing and my husband said “mom, no, we are not calling you when she’s in labor”. Then on her way out she says to my step daughter “you’ll let me know”. Wtf?!?! 😡 we told you no. I don’t know how we’re going to keep her away because she just does whatever she wants.
