Did you get a transvaginal ultrasound at your anatomy scan appointment?

Just curious if it's common for them to do a transvaginal ultrasound at the anatomy scan appointment.
Mine did this time but I don't remember them doing one with my last pregnancy. The ultrasound tech said it was to check the cervix.

I was wondering the same thing too! Just had my anatomy scan last week and they did vaginal as well. This is my third pregnancy and the first time they did both at my 20 week scan🤷🏼‍♀️

Mine said he checked my cervix and it was an abdominal. But I’ve heard of them doing both before.

For most the will do both, they have to measure your cervix. I had mine measured early because of a history of Leeps, so I won’t have another but with my son they did the vaginal then abdominal
