I got a promise ring for our 1st year anniversary (married now) but i kept it and still wear it on my other hand cause it means alot to me it shows how far we came. I have an older sister who since day one said the ring doesnt mean anything cause i dropped hints but i feel like no matter how many hints i dropped it was still up to him. The day of our anniversary he took me to the place we made it " official " as bf/gf and gave it to me there with a beautiful letter. 4 years later i still wear it even after we got married and she still talks shit. Like do you guys really think it doesnt mean anything because i threw hints 😔.

Shes not married and her relationships never last more than a month because shes very stuck up she even said the ring is cheap (its pandora and to me they not cheap at all) why did i even accept it and to me material things aren't everything i would've accepted a string with a bead hanging off of it because i was so in love ( still am ❤❤). Shes really bad she had had a guy she was dating give her flowers and it was carnations they where so pretty and she handed it back and said i dont want funeral flowers. I dont get why shes like that because our parent's are very humble and raised us to be appreciative..
