Any other moms have a planned homebirth with 1st and end up with a hospital birth, but able to have a home birth the second time?

I had HG with my first, and couldn't hold down enough to get the nutrients I needed so I had off the charts low blood platelet count. Lower by thousands than the legal limit for a homebirth in Alaska. I also have a super rare blood type and the chances of me bleeding too much were really high. Ultimately I'm glad it went that route because while I was okay, my daughter ended up getting medivaced to Anchorage (a 5hr drive or 45min plane ride from where i lived at the time) and spent a week in the NICU.

I guess I'm just wondering if any moms have been through something like this and been okay? Maybe even not had HG the second time around? I'm 5weeks now and have no signs of morning sickness yet, with my 1st i thought I had the flu cause i puked for 3wks before going to the ER and finding out I was 6wks pregnant... so my symptoms started at 3wks for that one. I guess I'm just hopeful this one will be different - and maybe a little easier on mommy.
