I was very sick a couple of weeks ago and was given antibiotic injections. It made me have bad diarrhea on my last week of hormonal pills. So to be safe my boyfriend and I have been using condoms for the past 16 days (the last few days of my hormonal pills, 7 days of sugar pills, and 6 days of hormonal pills). In this time we haven’t had sex much.

My boyfriend has to expend a lot more energy when wearing condoms so he wants sex less. This is most likely the reason but I think it’s ridiculous that condoms make sex so much worse for him. It makes me feel like he only has sex with me to feel good, not to feel close and love.

I only have one more pill to take until we can have unprotected sex again, and I can’t wait.
