birth control/sex/period question

so I started birth control a little over a week ago. I got my period on monday april 1st and then started BC that following sunday on the 7th. I had sex with my boyfriend on tuesday (with condom AND pull out method) and then twice friday (with condom AND pull out method again). I am very prone to worrying and I am scared I am pregnant literally all the time 😭 even though I know I use protection and started birth control so I can be safe. Should I take a pregnancy test or is that not necessary?

Also, I am worried that the BC is gonna mess up my period and I won’t get my period the week of my sugar pills and I want my period to assure me that I’m not pregnant lol. Is that something that happens to a lot of people or do MOST people get their period that week?

Idk this is kind of all over the place. I am kind of a worry wart and I just want to make sure I am being completely safe and doing the right thing.
