Preparing for IVF round 1
Hey ladies! I’m looking for any information or support as we prepare for our first IVF cycle. For some back story, we’re both 26 years old and unfortunately suffered 3 mmc in the last 1.5 years (the most recent was due to trisomy 7 at 9 weeks). All of our extensive testing came back normal - except for my low AMH - So my RE thinks IVF with chromosomal testing is our best option for a successful, full-term, pregnancy.
During our appointment today, we made the “official” decision to move forward with IVF in June (after we return from our anniversary cruise). I am relieved to have a plan of action and that our doctor is confident that we will have a successful pregnancy soon, but I can’t keep myself from completely stressing over the potential outcomes.
How have y’all stayed positive in this overwhelming (ha, understatement) situation? Is there anything you wish you had known going into the IVF process?
