Anyone taken letrozole (femara) to start ovulation ?

If so what side effects did you get is it safe & did it work?

Good luck, I was given this yesterday by my doctors yesterday. I’ve have been taking clomid, even though I ovulate fine and I have a period, we’ve TTC for 2 years. I didn’t get many side effect from it only hot flushes. I’m hoping I’ll be the same when I switch.

I think Letrozole does magic , I was told I could never have kids in 2014 , and in September 2018 I had my daughter.  We tried Clomid for 8 months, 100+ hormonal shots , 2 SHG TEST, 6 sperm count , even my SO was on clomid. Next step was either Letrozole or IUI. No side effects at all .

Mild cramping I always take it at night. This will be my third round no luck yet
