When to BD (clear his stock) before IUI?

Question

Hey ladies, if I’m doing IUI on Friday morning. When should we BD to clear away his old sperm? 
Mon or Tues or Wed night?

My doc advised  that we don’t do it 3 days before iui.... but to make sure we don’t refrain from it for more than 7 days. So we basically made sure to do it 7-4 days before iui.

I think Tuesday night - that gives all day Wednesday and Thursday and the but of Friday for fresh sperm to come along! Best of luck!!

My husband has had his best samples with a 40 hr ish hold lol 3-4 day he had 10 mil. The two times he held for 40ish hrs he had 26 mil & yesterday at 34 mil fast swimmers too lol we have sex the day of our mid cycle scan trigger next morning iui day after that

You should ask your clinic! Mine said that we should not worry about timing and should be doing it at least every 5 days and then from cycle days 12-14 at least every other day. Thats based on my husbands sperm count.. I think it depends on your particular situation
