Lh strip as hpt?

Have you guys used an lh strip as a pregnancy test. I have done some research and I’m from what I had read you can. But here’s where I’m confused.. I took one yesterday second line was barely there(couldn’t see it on a picture) today I took one as it was a lot brighter pink and an blue to see it picture. I’m 6 days late light spotting and mild barely there cramping. I’m going to get a pregnancy test this weekend if nothing changes I just wanted your thoughts, thanks!

By the time an ovulation test shows positive for pregnancy, an hpt will be pretty positive. And the opk would need to be blaring positive, not a faint line. We also tend to get an LH surge right before our periods so it's not a good idea to try to use an opk for pregnancy testing. Goodluck hun
