Hi I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2013 by a new doctor I started seeing. After looking up PCOS I realized that my only symptom was excessive weight gain (I have gained 13lbs in 1 weekend). Anyway, I continued with the treatment which was Metformin but didn't notice any change in anything. I decided to get a second opinion and after seeing a new obgyn she said that's she thinks I was misdiagnosed. One of the main reasons why is because I have regular periods. I get my menstrual cycle like clock work every 28- 30 days. So my question is has anyone been diagnosed with PCOS and have regular periods? Everyone I've met who has it doesn't get their periods months but I know everyone's symptoms are different.
