Has this happened to you?

So my period was supposed to come 12 days ago. On 2 days late I took a test (negative) 8 days late I had pink when I wiped so I thought my period was here. Had very light pink sometimes when I wiped for two days and then nothing. Does anyone have any thoughts on what could be happening??
