I have my first transvaginal ultrasound at 6 weeks. Does it hurt?
Will I get my ultrasound pictures to take home the same day???
How long does the ultrasound take??

It doesn’t hurt, they should be able to print them on the spot ( feel free to ask if they don’t automatically do it )

It didn’t hurt for me but every woman is different. Doesn’t take very long, maybe 10 minutes.

It depends on your doctor. I received photos. Also, be prepared to not see much at 6 weeks since it is still so early. Depending if your dates are correct you could only see a yolk sac or the yolk sac and fetal pole. Below is what I saw at 5 weeks 6 days.
