Toddler bed or twin?

How long did your toddler use the toddler bed for? I’m just wondering if it’s a waste and smarter to just skip right to a twin size bed?

We moved ours from crib to twin. Worked just fine.

My toddler used her toddler bed for almost a year and a half. She probably would have stayed in it longer but we need it for her baby sister. Now she’s in a twin.
