Just curious

My boyfriend posted a picture of him and a girl on snap chat story . The picture said "waffle house date😘😁". Immediately I could feel the tears coming. I fought back the tears. I told my mom about it. She says that I shouldn't answer his calls or texts. As of right now I've got 16 missed calls and two text from him. Should I try and talk to him about it or not worry about it. I really like him but if it is something serious between him and the girl then I don't want anything to do with it. Please help me on what you ladies would do if you was in my shoes.
