Does anyone else TTC look at baby stuff?

I can't help myself, I look at baby stuff every few days. I don't buy anything. But I look at stuff that I would want if I had a girl and stuff I would want if I had a boy. I did make an Amazon wish list labeled For Baby, but of course not any registries. Does anybody else do this? I don't know, am I just setting myself up for distress? I have had multiple miscarriages but they think they have fixed the problems (other than the genetic problem that gives me an extra 17% chance of miscarriage which of course they can't fix). I think I want a Winnie the Pooh theme for a boy and a Mini Mouse theme for a girl.

I have a secret baby board on Pinterest. I told my husband that I wanted to go to ikea for a crib and he was like - um no. Lol

I do it too. We are TCC as well with #1. I feel it's exciting but also scary! What if it takes years?! I don't want to set myself up w a Pinterest page full of baby stuff when I'm not even pregnant! Hard to contain the excitement I guess. Good luck and I would say continue doing it if it's fun for you. Little pleasures.

I have only purchased one baby-related item: a string of star-shaped lights from Ikea that slowly change colours. I bought as a symbolic gesture after my first round of IUI this past August. I called it my act of faith.

The only other things I have done are started knitting a baby blanket (takes me forever to finish a knitting project), and when I came across one of MY old baby blankets, I gave it a wash and put it in the (hopefully near) future baby's room.

I have an entire suitcase full of baby clothes and not a small one either lol :-)

I actually started buying things at 17 before I was actually TTC.  I bought a playpen and rags and all sorts of things just because I knew I wanted a baby someday. Put it in storage. Saved my butt too when I did get pregnant (age 20) because it was unexpected.

I bought a diaper bag b4 I was pregnant!  Could not help it!!!  It was the perfect one that had every feature I want!

I look and I have a plastic tub of things that I've bought like diapers, wipes, and unisex things

I do it too. I can't help it. I don't know if it makes it worse after 3 years is TTC or if it makes me hopeful. But really? Can any of us help it? The baby stuff is just so cute!
