Love the name Isla but I love nicknames and the only one I can think of for Isla is “lala” which I’m not into. What are other nick names?

It’s pronounced “eye-la” and I see no reason for a nick name.. plus, you’ll end calling her some random thing.. my daughters name is Mia and I call bug all the time lol

Does the nickname have to come from the name? My name is Erin and there’s really no nickname. Occasionally it’s Er or E but most people call me bunny. Love the name Isla by the way!

I dont find the need for nicknames when the name is already short. 
But id pronounce that like "eesla' and probably nick name "ees"
