Diagnostic laparoscopy

I’ve just booked in my laparoscopy to check for endo and I didn’t even think about risks and potential problems that may come from surgery! I’ve never had surgery before or been put under anaesthetic I’m freaking out a bit now as I’m the kind of person who really worries about something bad happening, thinking the worst of everything. I know I need it done and I’m going through with it but I’m just wondering if anyone was also worried about having it done but it turned out fine? I need help to calm my nerves
