What is this please

I got a letter through the post saying it’s urgent now I’ve been told my urine sample had this in B Streptococcus, what is this please anyone ??? Thanks

Group b is not Urgent they give you medication before your water bakes

GBS is not urgent, they can either give you antibiotics during labor or you can take probiotics and get retested as probiotics can sometimes "fix" the over colonization of that bactiera. Everyone has that bacteria, sometimes its just more than what doctors would like so they give antibiotics.  You can test positive for it one day and then negative the next honestly.  I was positive with my last baby and labor was far too fast for any meds and she was fine, and still is perfectly healthy

It's not urgent but other posters correct - you will need antibiotics when in labour. I have it too and my first baby contracted it. You definitely don't want that to happen (it's incredibly dangerous to babies) so just make sure antibiotics are part of your birth plan. It's easily avoided when you know you have it X
