Tetralogy of Fallot
I found out today that my baby boy has a rare heart defect.
He will need surgery within the first 6 months of his life. Within the first week if he isn’t coping.
To put it simply his heart won’t be pumping enough blood to the lungs.
The doctors have recommended an amniocentesis as this defect is very common with Down syndrome and his bones are also measuring small.
