Glucose test and an office that doesn’t know how the test works

Sitting here getting my glucose test done. I show up 15 min early so I can drink the drink and then get my blood drawn. You’re supposed to let them know that you’re there for the test so they can start the process right away. The guy at the desk tells me to wait my turn. 🙄 ok. This is my second child so I know how this works.

The phlebotomist calls me back. Takes her sweet time and draws my blood. She then says I’m basically done. I ask her about the sugar drink and she goes “oh, I have to ask how this works” - seriously?!!! Finally brings the drink and then tells me I have to wait another hour to get blood drawn again. From what I recall this is completely backwards from how it’s supposed to work and now I’m worried that this will make me fail and have to take the 3 hr. Feeling super annoyed right now. 😖
