My friend and I are currently in high school. She is pro life and I am pro choice. I am completely fine with others having different opinions, when they are educated and made independently. I think she has figured out that I’m pro choice, but I’m not sure. Regardless, she has been mentioning abortion a lot In Our everyday conversations and dropping random facts. The other day she was talking about the movie unplanned recommended I see it. Than she proceeded to say how she doesn’t like that others make opinions based off of their parents beliefs, which is exactly what she is doing, another jab because she knows my mom is pc. I did some research on the movie from multiple sources to see what it was about, and learned how biased the movie really is. I guess my problem is I don’t really know how to have respectful conversations with her, when she is so ignorant to the cause she supports. If she actually based her opinion from herself and bothered to look at the pc argument I would be fine if she was still pro life. However her hypocrisy and ignorance is starting to get to me, especially since she thinks that unplanned is an accurate representation of the pc side.
