As the mum of a child with multiple health issues, I’ve always found it a little selfish for others not to vaccinate their children. The same with allowing their kids places while they are sick. Why should my daughter have been placed under additional risk so needlessly

This whole comment thread is why I really hope admin add vaccine topics along to the banned list like abortion topics are. -.- 
And I one hundred percent support vaccinations unless your child or children have a legitimate medical reason. It’s selfish to not vaccinate and put your child and innocent children, elderly and anybody who’s immunocompromised because you think your PhD in google beats years of medical research.

We are doing one vaccine at a time, that way if there is a reaction, we will know which vaccine caused it and not get the subsequent boosters. There are several vaccines that the CDC recommends on the childhood schedule that simply aren’t necessary and we will not be giving those to our child. We look at it this way, the vaccines we received growing up on the schedule we received them were safe for us. That’s the method we decided to use. I had to have 4 vaccines before I went to Haiti a few years ago and I had a terrible reaction and was almost hospitalized because of one of them, but because I got all 4 at once I don’t know which one made me so sick. So I will not get more than one at a time ever again.
