Progesterone levels???

I had my progesterone levels tested today and they were at an 8. Im 5 1/2 weeks pregnant. They have put me on supplements, but has anyone else had low progesterone and had a healthy baby? Im worried sick right now.

So I had an appointment today and the doctor kept me on the pills vs the cream. He said my hcg was good so he hope but he didn't want to feel too confident until he heard the baby's heartbeat. He scheduled me for an ultrasound a week from today. Im praying for a strong healthy heartbeat! I will update after the ultrasound!

Yes! Had low last pregnancy and started bleeding. They put me on the pills and my son is 20 months old. This time it is 8.4 got started on pills again last week but she said they don’t worry unless itsbelow 5

I’m struggling with the same thing. Third pregnancy - 2 losses. We found out today that my progesterone is low. At roughly 5w5d it was 12 and hcg was 170. Had bloods done on Wednesday at roughly 6w5d and my HCG was 15,000+ but my progesterone has dropped to 7.7. They scheduled me for an US tomorrow to check placement of the pregnancy. If it isn’t ectopic then I’ll start supplements. I’m a nervous wreck that we will lose this baby, or won’t see a heartbeat tomorrow.

Ask them to prescribe you vaginal creme! Mine is called CRINONE 90mg. It’s inserted vaginally and absorbs into the blood and carries it right to the baby since it’s so close to your cervix. A pill is not as good because it gets filtered through the liver and doesn’t get all the progesterone to your baby.

Mine was 9.4 at 5+2. Had our first ultrasound today and everything looked good! Saw the heartbeat and everything. My doctor said as long as it’s over 5, you’re okay.

Had an ultrasound and baby looked great!heartrate 124 and measuring exactly as should be. The only issue was a subchorionic hemorrhage, but I had one with my son and it was ok.
