Went to my routine appt yesterday and found out my blood pressure was high. They recommended I be induced that day. They started my induction at 3pm and I had my baby today at 2pm! Not going to lie, the induction was horrendous. I wanted to do a natural birth and lasted twenty hours of intense contractions until I got so tired and overwhelmed when they told me it would probably take another 10 hours that I gave in and got the epidural. It only worked on one side so I didn’t get any rest, but it didn’t matter much because he was born only an hour later! I never want to be induced again (it was that bad) but I feel so blessed to be able to hold my baby boy. He is so beautiful I can’t stop staring at him. 💙
