What point do you tell your kids, family and friends I’m pregnant

I’m 38 and just found out I’m pregnant... this will be my 4th child, unplanned... I don’t know when a good time to tell my children that I’m pregnant and because I’m soo early on in my pregnancy seems like I’m having to live a double life... my kids are 20, almost 17&11, I’m used to independent kids and my life style but now that I’m pregnant and upcoming events where alcohol is involved not sure what to say to people but also how to tell my kids and family beings this was very unexpected 🤔😳

I'm trying to find out too. My oldest 2 sons will be 21 and 17 this year. I have a 14 year old son and my daughter will be 7 next month....Talking about lucky 7s lol

Hello I’m 39 and 11 weeks pregnant this will be my third unplanned pregnancy my girls are still young they are 8 and 10 years old they would expect the new baby something they have been asking for and I know they would be extremely excited to know we have a baby on the way I just haven’t told them yet what a life change for me but I have come to accept my little bundle

I think you should tell them when you feel you need to. That might be different times for each child/ family member. I told my kids because they were worried I'd been feeling unwell and also are mature enough to understand that life can be fleeting when it comes to pregnancy. 
If you need time to get your head round it, there's no need to tell anyone right away. Maybe you can't predict this, just do what you feel.

We waited until we were about 12 weeks along before we told our 17 year old. I also had some issues with cramping and spotting in the beginning which made me nervous because I’m 37. We opted for the NIPT bloodwork and once we had the results we shared our news with our son. Our parents live out of state so we sent them a surprise package with an ultrasound picture and a onesie to announce to them. Whatever your personal preference and comfortable level is. There is never a right or wrong time to share your news. Congratulations!  💕

I told my 14 y/o DD (who doesn't live with us) at about 11 weeks. My parents and close family about 12 weeks. Saved the general announcement for closer to 5 months (largely because DH was unable to participate in an announcement until then due to circumstances). Close friends and coworkers I saw often I told pretty quickly because I needed the support and understanding of my crazy mood swings. 
I'm 38, married for the 3rd time and going through a crazy stressful transitional time (without even considering pregnancy) but now that I'm 30 weeks along, I'm glad everyone knows. 
There's no right time or way that will work for everyone so the only guideline I relied on what what felt right. I knew that m/c risk was higher for me and I didn't want to have to un-tell anyone or anything like that so I deliberately waited until the end of first trimester but beyond that, all I can recommend is to follow your instincts.
