I think it depends on the people, and if they can handle the strain and lack of physically being around each other. It's hard and tough, but it's definitely possible to have a successful LDR.

My bf is in the army. He's currently 3 hours away from me but coming home tomorrow to spend the weekend w me😊 sometimes its miserable with us not getting to see each other when we want but we talk on the phone or facetime every night so that helps a lot! It can definitely work. Just requires a lot more trust and communication :)

Depends on the people! Worth a shot! My brother has known is fiancee for 5 years. They met as sophomores(I think) at church camp. Live 3 hours apart. Gave her a promise ring 2 years ago. Got engaged 1 year ago. And get married in 2 WEEKS! They are 20 and 21.
